Writer for the website Michael Welton spoke with Splinter Creek founder Ellen Leake, who explained that Splinter Creek was created to give people room to enjoy the natural world around them and explore nature at their doorstep. "There’s an abundance of common space – more than in the actual homesites, Leake says. “You won’t see your neighbor because of the natural areas between the home sites."
