With spring break just around the corner for many, we want to know, how do you relax? At Splinter Creek, more sunshine and warmer days translate into more time spent outdoors. Here are some of our favorite ways we enjoy our 650 acres and three spring-fed lakes. How will you spend your time?

Waking up to peaceful lake views is a great start to the day at Splinter Creek (photo by Alyssa Rosenheck).

A perfect morning at Splinter Creek starts with a perfect view. Our quiet lakes are just right for a mindful meditation or a moment of solitude with a cup of hot coffee. For the more active set, a quick dip in the lake or early paddle board session are other ways we get things started.

A family fishing expedition after breakfast is a relaxing way to spend some quality time together outside. Our three spring-fed lakes are fully stocked with prize Coppernose bluegill, shellcracker, and Tiger Bass. They are professionally managed by American Sport Fish, renowned as one of the largest producers of live, freshwater fish for stocking in the southeast U.S.

Nothing says relaxing like curling up with a good book or catching a nap with the breeze coming through an open window.

Happy hour at Splinter Creek is always happy and relaxing (photo by Erin Austen Abbott).

After a day with family, a small gathering of friends or neighbors is just the way to wind down as the sun starts to set. Post up on the shoreline or at our Community Porch or one of the property's floating docks to sip, laugh, and enjoy.

The most relaxing plan of all -- soaking in a bath (photo by Alyssa Rosenheck).

When happy hour is over and the dinner dishes are cleared, unwinding from the day in a large soaking tub is the ultimate relaxing experience. Add lake views and a soundtrack of croaking frogs for the perfect way to appreciate Splinter Creek.
