Winter at Splinter Creek brings its own magical silence and peaceful retreat. It's been a beautiful time out in the woods. We gathered with loved ones and friends to toast the year, and to the newest member of the Splinter Creek family.
At the end of 2018, the Splinter Creek family welcomed its newest member, baby Eleanor, who is Splinter Creek owners Ellen and Eason Leake's third grandchild. Such a joyous occasion served as a powerful reminder for the Leake family, and for everyone connected with this beautiful spread of land.
Because the energy that drives Splinter Creek is built around the next generation -- Eleanor's generation -- and by the promise that this land will mean as much to her as it does to us. Splinter Creek, to all of us, is an idea, a way to tell a story about family and home, and we look forward to the many perfect days spent outdoors ahead.
